I am delighted to announce Busoga Health Forum's second-year anniversary dinner slated for December 10, 2022. It is our pleasure to host you at Civil Service College, Jinja from 4pm for an evening of cheer and laughter, but also to confront the harsh silent reality of the Sickle Cell Disease trait that has ravaged our families and generations.

Sickle Cell Disease contributes substantially to mortality in Busoga sub-region.

The number of babies born with Sickle Cell Disease each year in Uganda stands between 15,000 to 20,000, with an estimated 80% dying by 5 years, according to a recent nationwide survey.
