Dr. Kharim Mwebaza Muluya (PhD)
Technical Advisor (RMNCAH)
Dr. Muluya Mwebaza Kharim is a technical advisor at Busoga Health Forum, specializing in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH). He earned a PhD in Public Health from Kenyatta University and holds a Master’s Degree in Health Services Management, along with a Bachelor’s in Population and Environment Health from Islamic University in Uganda.
Dr. Karim has obtained several in-service certificates, including Health Services Management, routine HIV/AIDS counseling and testing, and Monitoring and Evaluation. He finds joy in teaching, mentoring, and coaching health workers and stakeholders at health centers, districts, regions, and national levels across various disciplines.
With valuable experience as a part-time university lecturer since August 2014, he actively conducts research and publishes journal articles. Moreover, he takes pride in supervising research projects at both the university and district levels. Additionally, Dr. Karim actively participates in curriculum development for different health programs and presents papers to diverse communities on various health and management topics.
Through his dedication and expertise, Dr. Muluya Karim continues to make meaningful contributions to public health and health services management, working towards better healthcare outcomes for communities.
