Dorothy Akongo is the Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator ICLD Uganda- Child Thrive Project. She also supports Fellowship/Internship, Research and Advocacy. She is a Public Health specialist and a social scientist, she also poses certificate in Good Clinical Practice, Monitoring and Evaluation, Evidence Based Policy, Community Policing, and Leadership and Management in Health. She enjoys working within the time line with commitment and positive energy. Humility and integrity are her core values and pays attention to details while working with people from different walks of life. She has strong interpersonal traits with the capability of working alone and within a team with minimal supervision. she possesses strong online and paper qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis skills. Her career objective is to improve health among individuals and communities through community mobilization, sensitization, project planning implementation, and management and active research. Her passion lies in maternal, child and adolescent health with kin interest in early childhood development and redesign for capital development. In her free time, enjoys listening to music, dancing and spending time with family.
