Busoga Health Forum Capacity StatementBusoga Health Forum (BHF) is a registered, non-profit membership organization working to improve health and well-being across the Busoga sub-region of Uganda. Established by professionals, researchers, and community leaders, BHF bridges communities with government, academia, and development partners. Guided by its vision of A Healthy, Thriving Busoga, the Forum mobilizes expertise, partnerships, and evidence-based solutions to strengthen health systems and reduce inequities. BHF’s work spans community health, advocacy, research, and leadership development. Through its flagship Learning Hub, the Forum has enhanced the capacity of thousands of health workers, led large-scale reproductive health and malaria programs, and coordinated medical camps reaching more than 10,000 people. With over 1,000 active members, a strong governance system, and collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Makerere University, and other partners, BHF continues to champion community-driven, innovative, and sustainable health solutions for Busoga and beyond. |
